Adobe Photoshop I will teach the fundamental Photoshop skills for formatting graphics for web and print as well as image manipulation, restoration, and retouching.
You will be guided through how to work with layers, apply editing tools, use brushes, and master selection and masking. By the end of the workshop, you will have command of the basic operations in Photoshop, ready to start tackling your own creative projects.
Instructor: Maura Murnane
Maura is a working artist with an extensive background in graphic design and image production, culminating in a career as a senior photo retoucher.
She has worked for the Museum of Modern Art, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and Ilan Rubin Studio, among others.
The Photoshop I workshop is taught entirely online. No previous experience is required. Students must have access to Adobe Photoshop software to participate.
