We are excited to bring you a complete course on all the aspects of grant writing that you will find very useful. Linda Vallejo is a seasoned and knowledgeable nonprofit professional.

The A to Z Grantwriting Zoom Course will provide nonprofit professionals a step-by-step understanding of the grant-writing process from “A to Z!”  Topics will include researching and organizing funders, organizing a grantwriting office and team, developing positive working relationships with funders and sponsors, and consolidating a complete proposal package including measurable objectives, evaluation plan, and budgets.

The course has been designed for entry-level, seasoned non-profit professionals, and individuals looking for grantwriting positions in the non-profit world. The course is appropriate for all nonprofit sectors; arts and culture, health, K-16 education, environment, and human and social services, as well as faith-based organizations and municipalities.  Participants will receive a course manual and resources, tools, and samples to help guide the learning process.

Instructor: Linda Vallejo

Linda Vallejo has over forty years of experience as a grantwriting instructor, consultant, and coach. She is experienced in all development duties including donor communications and partnership building; program development and planning, budgets, financial records, and reporting; and implementing grantwriting campaigns to corporate, foundation, and government funding sources.

Ms. Vallejo has served as grantwriting instructor for Education To Go; consultant for Self Help Graphics and Art, Los Angeles, CA; 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica, CA: and the Nevada Ballet Theatre, Las Vegas.  She also served as a grantwriting instructor for Loyola Marymount University “Non-Profit Fundraising Certificate Program” and for Otis School of Art and Design “Public Practice MFA Program” in Los Angeles, CA.

Currently she is the administrative and fundraising consultant for Communities Create, a mental health arts-based non-profit organization in Los Angeles. Ms. Vallejo began her work in the non-profit sector as an artist and art teacher with Self Help Graphics, a non-profit arts organization in Los Angeles, California in 1977.
